Not crowded. We were seated immediately & waited on in short order. Food came out quickly, was as ordered. Waitress came back to see if all was well. Are, paid & left. Good experience, will go again
I had the best chicken sandwich and fries. I've never thought about coming to Gold Star for something other than chili, but I recommend you check it out. Plus, the service is great.
A great local Cincinnati style chili parlor! :D All of the staff is friendly, and the food is served quickly and freshly prepped. Good vibe. I love Gold Star cheese coneys with mustard and no onions, and they deliver with aplomb. They bring hot sauce to you instead of having a bottle- which is cool and sanitary. I wish they still had the extra hot sauce. Five (gold) stars.
We enjoy the Coney crate with the chili to go. Recently tried the Chicken bacon sandwich and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly, even talked with the manager about how well the food was made.
I came in today. The cook cooked a perfect chicken bacon ranch sandwich the bacon was perfect not too chewy and not too well done. I'll be coming back multiple times in the future
We'd never been to this particular Gold Star, but were in the area. They smashed it! It was a busy Monday what with it being Veteran's Day. The crew thanked each vet as they left (there were quite a few). My wife got a bacon cheeseburger and fries, I opted for the double cheese burger and fries with my usual Coney appetizer. Now, my wife's a tough room, and she insists Gold Star has the best fast food burger, if not the best burger period. Pro tip: people often find fast food burgers to be too thin, but I would have been fine with a single burger, though my double was still super tasty (and VERY filling).
Great staff and excellent food. I tried the cheeseburger for the first time and was impressed. Everything was fresh and it was really tasty. If you haven't tried one yet you really should.
I always love Gold Star, especially their chili cheese fries. They’re always fresh and they hold the chili without going soggy. Plus, they give you a tremendous amount (probably too much, if I’m honest).
